What is a Liveaboard?

Liveaboards in Indonesia means locals makes a boat, typically a small yacht as their primary residence, powerboats and cruising sailboats are commonly used for living aboard, as well as houseboats which are designed primarily as a residence. They can said that boat designed for people to live aboard it. In this case, a boat used for recreational diving expeditions or cruises where the divers live on the boat for some days depend on the duration of the cruise and use it as a diving support vessel.

Many divers are unfamiliar with the importance of liveaboards, or think that liveaboard diving might be too troublesome or only for the professional divers have idea for it. Some divers make only local day trips, preferring to return to the hotel in the evening.

For beginner divers, may have imagined bored because the scenery is only the sea. But apparently that's wrong, even liveaboard is a must. By cruising the ship for a few days will give you a great experience. Feel the life above the sea when the atmosphere is more real when on the boat with a breeze in the middle of the sea. Once tired of trekking, swimming, snorkeling, or diving, it's all paid off.

A liveaboard enables you to dive more remote and often better dive sites, and spend your evenings close to nature, out on the ocean gazing at stars far from the madding crowd. Cabins on board are comfortable and air-conditioned. Beside that you get to know a group of divers all sharing the same dive experience. There are often chances to visit islands and while not diving, or we can highly recommend getting back in the water after diving for some of the best snorkeling you’ll ever do. You might see turtles, manta rays, morays and other marine life in the shallower waters that you may have missed while diving.
